Does Anyone Else Find Nights With Aching Joints Preventing Sleep And How To Handel It?
My husband takes Gabapentin and either Advil or Tylenol (or a combination of both).
I wake up several times a night with my joints hurting. I just canโt get comfortable at night. We have a nice mattress so I know thatโs not the problem. My whole body hurts.
Clonazepam helps me sleep and keeps me from acting out my dreams
I get up. I can't lie there fidgeting with the discomfort, I just get increasingly angry and I'm not asleep anyway so what's the difference I may as well get up. In so doing I'm changing the thought patterns in my head and moving muscles. Sometimes I deliberately stay awake until I'm exhausted then I struggle back to bed and get to sleep easier.
I know that doesn't answer your question, I just wanted to write something ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Yep. I tried Baclofen, but that just replaced the rigidity and pain with muscle weakness. A couple of Nurofen help (sometimes paracetamol), but I don't like taking regular painkillers.
Just lately I've been trying CBD oil at 20mg (by CBD content) per day. It seems to help, but it's only been four days and an element of "rebalancing" other meds seems to be necessary. I'll keep you informed...
