Do Hallucinations And Delusions Get Worse As Your Parkinsons Gets Worse?
I’m on a new Rx which my “dopamine “ starving brain is not letting me to recall, but as to the subject at hand, I only accepted my Parkinson’s diagnosis only 22 months ago at the VA, but as the “as the hallucinations and delusions “ became unbearable, the last straw was being “thrown” by horse because I thought that my horse was “spooked “ by a mountain lion, that only I could see! Transported to the hospital by way of the air ambulance with a broken shoulder and a concussion, and I was told later that i was delusional, hallucinating big time, crazy dreams. The doctors brought “my insanity “ under control, they medication that I’m on now has released me from “mortal combat.”as if I was in a firefight back in Vietnam some 50 years plus ago, I am still experiencing the same delusions and hallucinations, but when they become a problem, the medical staff “tweaks” my “dosing” scheme and I’m back together. I have now been convinced that Parkinson’s is not only Progressive, theirs is foreseeably , no cure., but this is a disease that can be neutralized by exercise and not being codependent on it! We are never alone in this fight.
Thanks for your answer James, you seem to have a diagnosis which is dominated by hallucinations and dilusions. This Pd never ceases to amaze me at how it effects different peopple, nothing is out of bounds with it. I agree that exercise keeps it at bay but it seems to be a never ending story.
Yes
