Sweating

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Reston, VA

Most nights, I wake up drenched with sweat…me, the bed, the covers, the pillow. I dry off as best I can then sleep dry, except for the occasional relapse on the same night. Any way to manage this?

Terry,I have learned to put a ice back.on the my stomach. This technique cools down the body faster.
I do have a question, are you diabetic? If so it may be your blood sugar and please see your doctor.

Yes .... the way your doing it Terry ! 😁
Light weight duvet or remove duvet and just use the cover
Vests like runners use
Fan
Sleep by a window (I found fresh air trumps a/c !)
Lie on a towel also on pillow
Employ a beautiful Venezuelan massage therapist to gently lay cool rose petals on your furrowed brow, neck, shoulders, back and so on .....
I've tried all of these except the last one 😃😃
