What Do You Do To Get Through Down Time Episodes ?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Charlottesville, VA

I usually have several a day with one that’s pretty intense. I feel L could crawl out of my skin. Talking to someone helps but that’s hard because I live by myself.

Watch something else ? A couple in a day is nothing ! My wife can watch 6 episodes with no problem. I used to put up with it for her sake, funny thing is as time goes by I've grown to like an episode or 2 of Downton (Abbey)
I understand how you feel, you can always talk to people here I know it's not the same but I hope it helps. 😃

An extended release version of c/l might help minimize off times, or a Duopa pump. There are also meds that work with c/l to lessen off times. Talk to your neurologist.

I ask myself that all the time. I don't know. I try to walk it off.
