I Wish I Could Tell The Truth About This Illness, But I Think That A Lot Of People Don't Understand.
I think that Parkinson’s is so difficult to comprehend unless you have it. It manifests itself in so many different ways- and so many times it is silent or non visible-
It is easier to keep my illness to myself than to attempt to explain how my body is controlled by this disease. I cherish those moments and hours when I forget that I am afflicted with Parkinson’s.
Unfortunately I have tried to put it in words and with all the varieties of PD it is difficult.
There should be no shame regarding PD. Good days and bad ones.
It is very difficult. I like to say on a scale of 1 to ten, I am a 5 or something like that.
