Do You Perspire More Now That You Have PA
I was diagnosed 2019, I have a history of not perspiring or very little. I am now experiencing that symptom.
People with Parkinson's may have problems with the part of the nervous system that controls sweating. This can lead to excessive sweating (known as hyperhidrosis), which most often happens if your Parkinson's drugs 'wear off'. Sometimes, people with Parkinson's can also experience sweating at night.

Yes! Back of my head when I work out or outside too long. Lume deodorant and the wipes help!
Yes I do especially boxing
Probably so since everything is a task:-)
I also come from a background of working outdoors in high humidity with temps in the 90's. Never experienced a problem. I was diagnosed with PD in 2017. About 2022 ( after I had moved to Florida in 2021) I noticed that I was perspiring profusely. Flash Forward to summer 2023, I now was working out in my garage doing my online Title Boxing thing and I had a near heat exhaustion moment. I had to end my workouts in the garage because Doc said I am now Heat Intolerant. I came back to working out in October when the humidity and heat went down. It isn't something that happens to everyone, but not uncommon in Parkies. Needless to say, I am not looking forward to the summer here in Daytona.🥵
