Night Foot And Leg Cramps

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
The Villages, FL

My husband has been having terrible foot and leg cramps for about 2 months. I read that magnesium is supposed to help, but he is not finding that to help with the issue.
The cramping is so bad that he often wakes up throughout the night.
His doctor told him to take an additional Carbidopa/Levodopa pill around 1:00 am, but that is also not helping.

Anyone else having this issue?

Magnesium made it worse for me. I usually take half a pill of sinement when I wake up in the middle of the night. And I’ll take the other half when needed.
