Having trouble with incontinence and getting out of bed on time. Trouble getting out of bed. Looking for a solution that would help. Does anyone use a removable catheter or special urinal that works. Male

My husband has incontinence issues as well and has difficulty getting up out of chair during the day and bed at night. I have him wear Depends. At first he resisted but the first time he didn't make it to toilet on time, he was glad he had them on. I also ordered him a plastic handheld urinal for men from Amazon and keep it by the bedside. He feels comfortable knowing that this is available in event he can't get out of bed in time. I also ordered an extra one when we are in the car. Easy to pull off on side of road if no restrooms are available. Good luck.

I was in a motorcycle accident years ago and couldn’t sit up or get out of bed for awhile. I didn’t want a catheter. The hospital had these small portable urinals you can keep on the floor or beside the bed. I’m sure you can find them on amazon. I hope that helps.

We are in that boat currently. My husband with PD has been taking Oxybutynin for years. But now he is starting to have some accidents while sleeping. So he's been using Depends at night, and when he's asleep during the day, I wake him up every couple of hours. I also have a pad under his side of the bed.
