My doctor prescribes different types of levadopa, I take multiple medications
for other condistions and dont want to keep adding to it. Is it worth while

Have you ever tried a levadopa inhalation powdet? Inbrija is the name of drug. Asking for my husband since the sinemet seems to be less effective lately.

I could take it every day if I was into vomiting for hours on end. But I hate throwing up and I don’t know that it helps MSA.

Sinemet (Levodopa/Carbidopa) is a prescription drug approved by the FDA in 1975 to treat motor symptoms of Parkinsonism caused by Parkinson’s Disease, encephalitis, or exposure to carbon monoxide or manganese. It is considered the most effective treatment for the motor symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease and some types of Parkinsonism.

However, Sinemet is not appropriate for everyone. It is not suitable for people with:
- Undiagnosed skin lesions
- Narrow-angle glaucoma
- A history of melanoma
- Hypersensitivity to Levodopa or Carbidopa

It must be used with caution in people with:
- Wide-angle glaucoma
- Diabetes
- Asthma
- Emphysema
- Mental illness
- Problems with the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, or blood vessels

Additionally, it may not be appropriate for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Always follow your doctor's instructions exactly when taking Sinemet.

I take many other medications for my heart, but have added many Parkinson's drugs to them. I will take whatever makes me feel better. It's worth it.
