I dream most nights that I am always fighting other people. If I am on my left side I kick punch lashout but if I'm on my right side facing the wife I punch and kick but wake up before I make contact which I'm glad of, I am also very vocal.

I did when I was drinking a few alcoholc beverages at night to help me sleep. I stopped that when I would wake up with unaccountable bruising and no remembrance of how I got them. I don't drink anymore and have had no such reoccurrances. I think just a few drinks was not mixing well with my medications.☺️

Hi Les,
Yes, I have had this experience. I have REM sleep behavior disorder. Whatever you’re dreaming, you will act out. A lot of times you will be trying to protect yourself and you’ll be kicking and punching as my husband can tell you. I have punched my night table and other things. It can be very dangerous. My doctor told me that I could dream I was running with a football and run right out of bed and run into the wall. He immediately sent me to a neurologist who specialized in Sleep Disorders. For this disorder, they will medicate you to prevent you acting out. Oh also, even the most violent you act out you won’t remember it the next day. You do scream and talk loud. I screamed in my husbands face and pulled his hair and punched him and kicked him. So it’s something you definitely need to talk to your doctor about so you can be put on the correct medication because it sounds funny and I laughed but my doctor that did the sleep study told me it was anything but funny and immediately sent me to a sleep disorder specialist, who was a neurologist, and he medicated me And I’ve had to have my medication increased periodically because I would break through and start acting out again. Do you sell for favor and let your doctor your neurologist know so he can give you something for it and you can have a peaceful night sleep, and you’re not and your wife as well . Hope this has been helpful.
Blessings
