Has Anyone Had Any Problems With Constipation
My mom is 85 years old & was diagnosed with Parkinson's a year ago. She's having a lot of problems with constipation. She was wondering if anyone has that and if so, is there any way to avoid it. Does anyone have any feedback on this it would be greatly appreciated
My husband has constipation a lot, besides all the above items the best thing that works is Milk of Magnesiam, works every time fir him.
I too have constipation, never before being diagnosed. Try Coconut water and Miralax. Helps some.
Thank you, I appreciate that I will mention to her you're recommendations. The tea sounds interesting too.
High fiber, low sugar diet, more water drinking. Some people find a tea called "smooth move" works for them. Depending if upu are taking blood thinners but a combination of prune juice and cranberry juice can be helpful. Flaxseed can be a helpful tool in the ahed.
Adding 3 teaspoons of olive oil throughout the day, hummus at lunch 2 tablespoons , black seed oil 1/2 teaspoon 3 times a day, high fiber whole wheat bread or /and crackers ,pears , manderines , oranges, blueberrys ,flax and fiber bread . Also would suggest salmon every day or two , Must drink water throughout the day and walking about 1/4 to 1/2 mile three times a day at whatever pace will help things to move. You need to stay with it so your body can adjust , stay away from sugar and junk food . Baked chicken breast also good for dinner or lunch. That's some ideas hope it helps!
