Does Anyone Hear Different Noises Or Singing Playing?
I hear singing most of the time, like a choir. Religious, old songs from when I was very young. I hear a jack hammer, a saw cutting trees, alarm clock, plus other things. I also have Lyme Disease since 2012. Maybe it is from that.
I don’t think that’s a delusion at all to hear music. Sounds lovely.
Glad to learn that other people with PD hear music. Like some who responded, I frequently hear old songs, such as the Battle Hyme of the Republic or Christmas carols. In general, the music doesn't bother me, and disappears when I am talking with someone or are engaged in a situation where my attention is required. I sometimes ask if anyone else is hearing music. Sometimes, the song that I am hearing is like background for music that others are hearing, I have mild dyskinesia which appears to be associated with music. Another thing that can occur is that if I hum or sing the music for too long, I have a sore throat at the end of the day.
Monique9, my aunt Lin says it’s Jesus letting me know he’s here to rest my mind. Yes I’m always singing or humming. But the singing that I hear didn’t start till I got word that I have Parkinson’s disease. 🫶🏼
