Does Anyone Have A Child That Has Developed Parkinson's As An Adult? Is It Heritary?
I have had Parkinson's since 1970 when returned from the war. Wasn't diagnose til 2013 but had all the symptoms. The VA was not willing to diagnose it .was a long fight. My son age 46 has developed tremors he refuses to go to doctor because he sees how much I have deteriorated. Just wondering if anyone else has an adult child with pd.
There is a small genetic component with PD, but if you got it from exposure to agent orange, you likely don’t have a gene to pass on.
My father had PD and so do I,but think that’s more coincidental.

My Dad has PD and we found out he had an aunt and some cousins who had it. I was just dx'd last year with young onset. I understand his not wanting to go to dr. I was hesitant too. But now I know what it is and started Rock Steady and other things to get a jump on treatment
