Any bladder issues you know or believe are from Pakinson’s? More UTI’s then usual and even some that are negative, but you feel they are real?

Hi Sharon. I have had 2 in the last 2 yrs. Before I was diagnosed with Parkinson, I had had only 1 in about 4 yrs.

I have had two “ghosts” UTI’s. Had all the symptoms but tested negative. The doctor didn’t know why. I started taking D-Mannose after I read a ladies comment on FB how much it helped her. My doctor even suggested it. I still take it faithfully now and also drink more cranberry juice. I see some other things on FB for UTI’s, but I will stick with this for now. They seem to have the same things in them. You should give them a try. I get mine off of Amazon. There are several brands. I think they all have close to the same thing in them.

As with all symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, no not everyone will get them. Some people get more symptoms than others, some people get less. Time can also be a factor. I am 15 years in and still can smell fine.

Hello
I have had very many UTIs in the last year. Some have severe symptoms, however, lab tests are negative. I am now wearing adult diapers and wonder if that contributes to my bladder symptoms. At first I be resented the cost of paying for them. Now I am very happy they exist and give me more freedom to leave my apartment.
I have had a very miserable last two months.i survived a very abusive childhood. I began to have full color Continuously running flashbacks. This is the first time since 2013 and because of my PD medications they could not be treated as they have in the past. I have a wonderful psychologist and a physiatrists that I have known since 1982.
Together we were able to develop an appropriate treatment plan and I am once again flashback free. Working hard on my mobility and appreciating every day again. Celebrated with a new haircut! Although I don't write very often, I read the posts everyday. Thank you all of you wonderful strong men and women that remind me we can do this. Sent with blessings
