Carbidopa /levodopa Is Causing Me A Ton Of Grief....can You Please Help?!?
25/250 carbidopa levodopa (generic) blue colored pill ,It is the only medication i take currently 1 tablet every 2 hours ,12 pills total a day...almost immediately after taking pill... tongue, gums start to burn(extreme) saliva gets thick and stringy lips get fused shut, abdomen gets very tight ,getting a full breath is impossible lower back and neck and hands get tight a urgency to urinate happens within 3 to 5 minutes two red lines appear down the middle of my tongue .it is a real… read more
I would reevaluate my meds. Take it down to basics and see just how much you really need. PD changes all the time so meds might need to be lowered or adjusted. simplify
It sounds like you have developed an allergy to the medication. If your doctor won't adjust your meds, you may need a new doctor.

It does sound like you may be allergic to something in the meds. I get lines on my tongue if I eat salty things. It also swells.
I'm Sure I've Mentioned This Before, But Does Anyone Else Have "down" Times Between Doses Of C/L Or Stalevo?
