Erratic Handwriting

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Clifton, AZ

There’s no rhyme or reason as to why my handwriting gets Small and illegible or why it becomes legible. It never stays one way or the other. Is this normal?

Whenever I went to the bank and they asked me to sign my name no two signatures were the same, I explained that I have Parkinson's, and the teller said that the bank would make a stamp of my signature.
I thought that it was a fantastic idea, it took about two weeks for the stamp to be delivered to the bank and I picked it up the next time I went in.

Brilliant, can't thank the staff enough.
Gav.

I am the same way with my handwriting, the older I get the worse my handwriting is, if I try writing larger it looks a kindergartner has written it..
