Does Anyone Have Problems With Cramps In Legs And Feet?
I’m not sure when they started but they are getting increasingly worse. Occasionally I will have them during the daytime but for sure every night I get get one and have difficulty getting back to sleep. Any response would be appreciated
Hi I've had RLS for 30 years now but I seem to have got on top of it by doing yoga. I do it just before going to bed. I only do it for about 15 mins but that is enough for it to work for me. Though if you have it more severe then you might need longer. Sometimes I still wake up in the night with RLS, so eventually after accepting that its not going to go away, I get up and do some basic yoga stretching, which always works. If the RLS is not too severe then I can get away with just bending from my waist down with my arms dangling and staying in that position for a couple of minutes. It seems to stretch the restlessness out. At least now i'm not found hopping around the living room doing some weird 'bunny hops' which i used to do to get rid of it
Ask your doc if this could be dystonia. My feet would turn to the inside, my toes would go up, and it really hurt! You can have botox injections to help relieve the dystonia.
All thetime especially early in am just before getting out of bed.
Thanks for your input. I have started taking Magnesium Potassium and Zinc. I have also been doing some stretches before going to bed. Seems to be helping.
Magnesium plus potassium plus zinc keeps cramps at bay for me. This combo has worked for years.
