Chills
My aunt is having a hard time this winter with always being cold and chilled. Ive found limited info other than being cold is part of parkinsons. She just feels freezing all the time and has the chills. Her neurologist had her go to er last night because he wasnt sure this was from the parkinsons. they checked lungs/heart and released her as good and told her to follow up with reg dr. is this a common issue with parkinsons patients? .
I find that I am very cold in the winter and start to shiver from cold much faster than I did before . In the summer I have much less tolerance for the heat. I’ve wuetioned to myself if the Parkinson’s is messing with my temperature regulator. You all have confirmed it for me. Thank you.
I just found this ...... looks like we're on the right track
This webpage discusses skin changes common in Parkinson's disease. ... How the autonomic nervous system regulates many systems, including temperature control, and how Parkinson's change the body's temperature regulatory mechanisms leading to symptoms such as hyperhidrosis

Today the temp was -37 can you imagine & I had to go for a pre-op - rats! Even the meter was so darn slow & then for it to print my ticket I thought I would freeze to bits.
