Unfortunately it can be one of the side effects (Tiredness). You did not say how many doses you were taking each day. Andrea tries and put food into her stomach at least an hour before each of her three dosages and stays away from high amount of proteins in each one of those meals. Where are your meals in conjunction to when you take the sinemet tabs? We had to play with how many sinemet tabs she took in a day and still make them effective. Started out at 1 four times daily and ended up at 1 three times daily. Hope that helps a little or a lot. We are not experts here but have learned a lot.

I use 1 x sinimet at 06h00 and 1 at 12 noon. No dizziness at all.

What I found worked quite well? Was switching to The extended version, as this softens the onset of being "on"... you don't get slamed near as bad....

One of the side effects is low blood pressure - let your doctor know. Sometimes starting at a lower dose and increasing very gradually helps (how my neuro handled with my low blood pressure).
