Has Anyone Heard Of Taking 500mg Of Magnesium To Help Wth PD?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I have just been reading an article from a Neurological Clinic giving advise about Sinemet (carbadopa levodopa) and it advises you to have a healthy diet and bone strengthening nutrients ie: Calcium,Magnesium,Vit D & K while taking it.
The PD diagnosis also present hypomagnesemia as another new detail to be evaluated So I went to a nephrologist he made the labs. But he can not find a. the cause basically my problem,is I can not retain or keep good Mg levels in my. Body.. So I use400-500 mg tab daily and Check by bloo d work I prefer to use the Po supplement instead of presenting low level that clinically may complicate more thePd.
Hypomagnesemia low levels of magnesium is a condition present in Parkinson.Magnesium is important for muscle activity ,heart activity. Unfortunately is not a routine screening test.I have a condition evaluated by nephrologist that I can not keep my magnesium levels stable ,so I use 400- 500mg of magnesium P.O. daily. The magnesium help with fatigue, constipation. My recommendation if possible check you magnesium levels..
