Hi friends, sometime I have eye problems it is an aweful feeling, sometimes it's double sometimes it's really blurry but when it happens it is really hard to walk, and talk I walk and lift my legs up higher and feel stupid. My husband has to hold me when walking my stability is bad. Sometimes it makes my heart race but not everytime. Please let me know if this happens to anyone. It started in 2014 and is getting alot worse and alot more often.

Debbie I suggest that you she an optomologist for your eyes. It may be something other than the Parkinsons and you might be able to see better. I am so sorry you have to go through so much. If you fall too much you may need to use a cane or walker. My husband sees a movement specialist who is a neurologist specializing in Parkinson but it sounds like you found good neurologists. I wish you the best and pray you have a lot of good days.

Thank you for bernadine for sharing. I am so sorry that your husband is going through that it is so scary for me when I have good site it takes the whole day away sometimes I can't see it all it's just a big blur and Light I can't keep my eyes open because it's scary when I open them and can't see anything I am so glad for this site because my husband and family doesn't understand what it feels like or what I'm going through I also have epilepsy so that's a double whammy. I was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2009 and diagnosed with Parkinson's disease just three months ago I have had the symptoms for a few years and they kept saying it's the medicine but they found out that it is not the medicine all my symptoms go towards Parkinson's with The Walking the falling the shaking tremors Etc they put me on New Pro patch the days that I have good days I write my name when I can because I haven't been able to write for a few years I just keep my eyes towards Jesus and he helps me through this fear and scared that I feel I know people say to me don't worry you'll be fine but they don't understand that I'm not fine but sorry about this long letter I just needed to vent to someone and you were the victim LOL I hope you have the best day ever give your husband a big hug and that I am praying for him you have a good day

My husband has Parkinsonism, the type being PSP. His eyes sometimes stay shut and he is unable to open them until something releases them. One of the symptoms of PSP is problems with the eyes like double vision and blurry vision. He also has very dry eyes.
