@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member you have to see your neurologist and change the dosage of Carbidopa/Lebodopa. I started taking carbo/Levo in 2008 I was 45 years old when I was diagnosed of PD. My neurologist prescribed me a dosage of 100/250 mg twice a day of carbo/Levo. I was taking it for six years until dyskinesia got me and all kinds of symptoms that really bothered me. I feel like somebody did a spell on me.😭 When my neurologist lowered the dosage of my meds I have not had dyskinesia since then for almost 3 years now, and also he prescribed me Amantadine and Pramipexole.
I hope that helps. Be well and Take care.
@MsbernsifyHello it is interesting that you asked the question about Carba Leva. I was at Vanderbilt university yesterday and I brought the topic up as I experience the wearing off early as well.
I was given two answers. Change up the time that I take it (4 times) per day to a Different time schedule. It requires some trial and error. If that does not work there is an extended time release one available. If you have any further questions regarding this I can find out from my neurologist and share the information.
Take care

I hear you loud and clear mine gets so bad I have trouble reading because I can't focus and I have trouble typing. Also I have incontinence so I have to buy pads and they are expensive and the sticky pads are h--- for me to insert. The old belt would be better.
Rytary/ Carvadopa/levadopa
Does Using Ropinerole/Rasagiline Have As Bad Side Effects As Carbodopa/Levadopa?
Is It Best To Put Off Going On Levadopa/Carbadopa For As Long As Possible?
