Is Any One Else Using Amino Acids To Control Parkinsons

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
South Haven, MI

Why are there so few of us using Amino Acids to control Parkinsons . From my viewpoint it appears to be working just fine . It uses the main component in Sinamet but controls the side effects ( I haven't experienced any) correctly.

Good Morning @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member and @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member......My group all use the 40% Mucuna from Barlowe's. One member thinks the CHK Mucuna is a little more potent but I can't tell the difference. It has a slight sweet taste, I find it easy to take. Before Barlowe's had bulk Mucuna on their website he was offering it to Parkinson's patients. John, a member of our group, asked if he could buy it in bulk and the founder of the company agreed. We were emailing him every other month to get it, now he is offering it online. It never hurts to ask! The cost of these supplements are definitely a road block, we like to say "Our wealth for our Health" but the benefits we all get from this protocol has been life changing. I never used Sinemet, was trying every alternative method I could find before finding out about amino acids. Within a week of using them my balance, gait, and energy changed. I gained most of my strength back within a few months, and am 90% recovered now. I had been diagnosed only a year and a half when I found this protocol, other members of my group had been using Sinemet and had years of struggle when they started, but they all have regained most of their gait, balance, strength and energy. I mentioned before our blog about Amino's. You can comment and get answers to any questions you have here.

If anyone is interested, and close to Bloomington, IN, our group of about 5 meet every month.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, I am so excited to hear you have started this protocol! If you would like to talk I can give you my email. Support is so important going through this. I think our group has run the gamut on tips and tricks to
get through the nausea, etc

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member if these other products you've found ( I see they have mucuna and tyrosine) work as well as the CHK items, you may have found a break thru for many people wanting to try the amino acid approach. I think it's lack of knowledge and cost that are the major road blocks. You've may have eliminated the cost factor as those two products are the bulk of the expense. Seeing one of Hinz's Drs n getting stabilized and then finding a lower cost method for some of the products might be a pretty reasonable way to deal w Parkinsons in the long run. Any insights you have on these products n how your doing with them ,I believe , would be much appreciated by many on here. Thanks again!

My Naturopath Dr that uses the amino acid protocol is Dr.Oler in Madison,WI. I have phone consultations with him, have never had to travel to Madison. I believe he is taking new patients. I get my 40% Mucuna powder from Barlowe's Herbal Elixer's, they have bulk powder in a 2.2 lb. bag. I also use NeuroReplete and CysReplete from CHK Nutrition. I needed Dr Oler to adjust and readjust the amounts, I couldn't have done this on my own. I can't say enough about this protocol. It's truly given me my life back. I take the supplements 4 times a day, which is a hassle but is worth everything it gives me. My gait improved, my energy level improved, my balance and strength are back. I did experience nausea when starting, not as much as other group members did so it was easier to stick with the protocol. Dr Oler's site is:http://naturalpathhealthcenter.com/
