Anyone Suffer From Restless Legs Syndrome?Seems Its Tied In With PD,DRIVING ME MADA
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I'm with you there it is the most horrible horrible sensation. If it goes on long enough I actually become very nauseaus. The clinic suggested I try Rivotel and just take it when needed. The relief is tremendous. It is however inclined to make me drowsy - no problem at night but not so good during a long drive. If I have to drive and find it bad I try taking just a quarter of a tablet. The manipulation and ups and downsnever end do they?
Hi, I have just been given a drug called Clonazepam to treat me for restless legs and it seems to be working, but it makes me sleepy but that's fine because I only suffer from the problem at night. Gav
Is it the Quinine in the tonic that eases the symptoms? Regards Gavin
I bet that the gin also helps !!!!!!!! Gavin
it is the quinine----quinine pills used to be available but for some reason they stopped making them--they used to work very well for RLS---the problem with the tonic water is that there is not enough quinine in it----however, i have a friend who swears by it and uses it every night....
