Yes, Ihave terrible PD Mucus problems. In ER the DR. gave me one of three ATIVAN's ( 1 mg. total ) about 45 min. later, no cough or mucus. Same for Klonopin,, although it is less strong. So, I take one Klonopin before lunch, dinner and in the middle of the night. Works for me, or at helps to cut down mucus for awhile.Hope it helps you ! Hugs, Pam

Hi! Dairy products do increase mucus.I stay away from them and sugar as far away as I can. My mucus is out of control, also I have been on all kinds of nasal sprays and med.s Be assured it is the kiss of death to drink or eat dairy for me. ( also this includes sweets as well.) ever thing I have tried has been a disaster ! If you have any thoughts or ideas as help stop excessive mucus, I would be grateful ! Thank you. hugs, Pam

I do not have a problem with mucous. However, my doctor told me that if that should happen to make sure I am keeping well hydrated: Drink eight, 8 oz of water every day. If you spread them out during the day it''s not difficult to drink them all. I, personally, can manage only six glasses, but it seems to do the trick.
