So I'm a good candidate. I guess there are different ways of doing the procedure I will be put to sleep all but 15 min of the surgery. What a relief my dad was awake through his whole procedure. I will be given the c5 battery hoping to have both sides done but I guess ultimately it's the docs choice to do both sides at once or one at a time. The doctors assistant was very helpful kristan from evergreen health in Seattle Washington. I'm excited!!!

hi wayne.

warmest greetings from England!
I had my surgery nov2016. Then6 weeks wait before switchon. I am still being tuned. As there are more wires in the new models it means there are more sites of the brain to stimulate. Mine has 8 wires the older models only 4. It means fine tuning is possible. All my tremor has gone apart from my feet!!! working on that next.. hugs N
