Indigestion----does Anyone Else Have A Problem With This?----i Often Feel What I Eat Just Sits In My Stomach.....
@MyParkinsonsTeam users... Hello to all of you guys. All of you who have had problems with stomach and intestinal problems including the situations-with digestion or what you call an unhealthy gut. If your stomach is hard and you have problems with your undulation there's things that you can do to remedy those. Perastasis is a problem that causes you to not be able to undulate the intestines to move waste out of your system. ....out of your body. It starts as high up as the Esophagus all the way down to the anus from start to finish. Metorism is also known as having the bloats. Either of you have that problem? It Causes a very tight and hard abdomen. The cure takes a while because you have to replace all the bad bacteria that you've done to your stomach and system right now and put in all new anti-biotics so that you have a healthy gut. Start by going to the doctor and asking him/her if they have the prescription strength probiotic. If not you can get it over-the-counter at the drugstore but you're going to need at least 6 billion cultures in it for it to make a difference to your unhealthy gut.
If your intestinal undulation has stopped working then everything will just sit there in your stomach and not move out. I'm not sure if surgery is an option with peristasis or not. Bloating is very painful and if you have that going on to then Peristasis and meteorism are probably working against you together. First order of business is to see your doctor and ask him/her questions such as has My intestines quit doing its job of undulation? Then get the probiotics for your stomach and try and stay away from dairy if you can Lactose intolerant will contribute to other diseases such as celiac disease. Try to get on the pro Biotics ASAP and put some good bacteria in your stomach for a change. Good luck with everything and let me know how it goes. My best to you. Sterling
I have terrible indigestion .It's like it's in your throat.Which is not good for your throat.I take medicine for it. I have to watch my diet so I don't eat something that would cause indigestion.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - make sure that everything that passes your lips is actually nourishing - real, fresh fruits and vegetables, 100% juices, real meat - turkey, chicken, beef, fish, game, whole grains without corn syrup or food coloring, plain yogurt - add your own fresh or frozen fruit & some wheat germ &/or wheat bran, cheese without any other ingredient, eggs. Our convenience oriented, profit driven society poisons us with food colorings, non-food additives, preservatives, and things that fill our digestive systems but are not digestible. Don't waste your money & your body on candy, bakery goods, Twinkies; processed meats like salami & bologna; canned food, pretzels. goldfish crackers, Cheetos, soda pop. Also fresh milk to drink isn't very digestible to those of us above 6 years old. These are fillers, not food. You may be surprised how your body will respond, especially to the fresh fruits & veggies! You go, girl!
@DianneL-----thanks for your response---my doc has scheduled some tests for me so i guess that is where i will start---he is an excellent doc as is the movement specialist i go to----and if he thinks i should move to a gastroenterologist he will send me there----hope all is well with you, please send an update----Bonnie
