2 or 3 glasses? What size? I love red wine. Does it interfere with the meds?

Guess I'd be careful with alcohol. However I must add that on one occasion last summer I had a few glasses of wine and it seemed my gait improved and I felt more fluid movement-- but alcohol fools us into thinking it feeling things that may not be true. I rarely drink and when I do it's 1-2 gls.

I find that 2-3 glasses of wine, spaced out over 5-6hrs keeps me calm and tremor-free after the last dose of Sinemet has worn off. Drinking that slowly, I don't get tipsy or feel like falling.

So far I find that a nice rosé wine holds me over during the off times between meds. 1 serving is 5 oz. On an average, humans can metabolize 1 serving in an hour. If I really want to escape, I go for 3 servings at first, then 1 serving per hour after that. Or if I want lots but want to remain functional, I'll have 2 1/2 servings at first, then 1 serving per hour after that.
Beer is helpful for gaining weight. 1 serving is 12 oz of 4.5% beer. Do the math and have a smaller serving for higher percentage beers.
Distilled liquors 1 oz is 1 serving for drinks of 15% (30 proof) or less. Again, do the math and have a smaller serving for higher percentage liquors.
