Sorry to be so slow to reply but I just saw this. I take all of my vitamins in solid form except for the fish oil. I don't know why but recently just taking the fish oil has given me a bad taste so I skip it frequently. I have not told my doctor since I haven't seen him since I do this but I will at my next appointment.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member hi, I take 1000mcg of Vitamin B12 and 400UI of Vitamin D. I'm in year 11 with PD and i have been taking these vitamins at doses noted above since the beginning. I hope this helps.

JeanneRuggMy sister was very sick with the viral flu and to get her energy back she had to go to her doctor every day for a total of 10 days for B12 shots. When she asked what the purpose of B12 he told her it brings oxygen to your red blood cells. I was prescribed B12 at the same time as Sinemet when I was diagnosed with Parkinson's going on 12 years and I take 1000 dosage.

I Isère TO take fish oil and my neurologist told me to stop as it prevents the medication from being absorbed by the oil. In addition all oils were salad dressings . It's ok to eat foods fried in oil as we're suppose to go take our meds 1 hour before eating or 2 Hours after eating. Not sure Doris if you find your meds are not working as well as you thought they should. If that's the case you may want to change the Vitamin to a solid form. If you have no issues then you're doing something right. I just thought you might be interested in what my neurologist told me about oils .
