I am very excited that,I have recruited a gym to to get trained and become a Rocksteady Boxing affiliate. Do any of you have experience or comments about Rocksteady Boxing?

There are some foundations that are providing grant money to some Rocksteady gyms to help remove financial barriers for PWP who want to join a RSB Gym. FYI, I can not believe how much more mobile I am the day after my RSB workout. The rewards are worth the effort.

Tammie,
I am also 48. I went to an introductory meeting, and I won't lie, it was a little depressing to think that was headed to some of those stages. However, rock steady evaluates you and puts you in classes with other in the same stage as you. And always remember, PD is never the same for two people. If you start exercising now, and I'm preaching to myself, perhaps you won't reach the really bad stages, some people don't.
Hang in there. Keep positive.

Sterling, Find a local gym, one that teaches some boxing is preferred, and try to recruit them to become a Rocksteady affiliate. Our new gym is bringing in 1 to 2 members per week. And they haven't started marketing yet. They may not have to market. Rocksteady is well known and it attracts members. Good Luck.
