Does Anyone Experience Periods During The Day When You Have No Strength In Your Legs/knees And Arms, And Unable To Walk?
I take my medications every (3) hours, (24) hours a day. During a typical day, I have a repeating cycle, where I have weakness in my legs/ knees and a heaviness in my shoulders for (2) hours and then will feel fine for (1) hour. This repeats over and over. It tends to follow the time I take medication. Has anyone experience this, and have suggestion on how to counteract?
If it coincides with your medications, then it’s probably your medications. You should see your neurologist and see what he/she can do. It could be the wrong dose (likely to high), a side effect of the med, or the wrong med altogether.
I’ve had some muscle weakness lately, but that responded nicely to more exercise. Totally different circumstances.
Everyone is different, but my meds take about 40min to take effect and last not quite 4 hrs..I am expected to take 2 every 4 hrs and if I have 'breakthrough symptoms I do a 1/2 dose. That works for me. Talk to your doctor, he should be able to guide you in the right direction
If it gets bad I just go and laid down and try to relax, sleep some, take a hot shower to relax my whole body or get a message reflexology helps also. All the best
For me it is the off times when the meds aren't working. I just suffer and pray that I am coming up to a dose. Although I don't get much relief from it, but I take my doses every 3 hours.
Yes. Usually those are the days I call bad days.
