Has Anyone Else Had The Deep Brain Stimulation, And Had Their Dentures To No Longer Fit?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lebanon, TN

I had the DBS surgeries last June, and because they were two weeks apart, I just left my dentures (partials top and bottom). When I was through the surgeries, and healing very nicely, I couldn't get them to stay in my mouth!!

I can't have DBS. I have to keep my heart beats at about 60 with a pace maker. It liked to hang at about 40 on its own. Can't have both apparently.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Hi Becky. I can't say that I know anyone else who has had their dentures not fit after DBS. Perhaps there's another member of this team that has had it happen to them or knows someone that's had it happen to them. Let's wait and see if someone comes forward with their story. Sterling

Sterling, none taken. I was curious if anyone else had had this happen to them, or if it were just me.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Now that's not right. Those doctors must have been "head-shrinkers" :-) And there folks, is your humor for the day. Please no offense Becky. Sterling
