DBS Surgery, Are There Any Scars From This Surgery

thank you Tiger, that was helpful. Did they have to shave your entire head to do the operations? And did you have three separate operations, working on right side of brain, then left side of brain, then connecting the wires to the battery pack?? I know in canada they do it all in one day and it is 8 hours all together. Where did you have yours done?

I was awake but had medications so that I did not feel anything. .they need you to be able to answer questions.

I have had a successful DBS surgery. And to answer one person I have a scar because the incision is in the same place on my chest every time they replaced the batterys . It's not a bad scar worth the scar for the results of the surgery.
