Has Anyone Tried The Theracycle And Found It To Be Helpful?
I live in Minnesota where it's hard to walk in the winter because of the snow and ice, so I am looking for something that will work during those months when I can't exercise outside. Thera cycle is very expensive so want to be sure before investing in it. I'd really be interested in hearing others' experiences thanks
I have a Theracycle & love it. You can pedal it yourself or if you can't it does the pedaling for you. It also works your arms at the same time. It is expensive & very heavy to move.
Nice thing about the Theracycle is: if you can't pedal it by yourself it pedals for you. Also works your arms at the same time. It adjusts to the speed & time also. I really like mine & am not sorry I spent the money..To many stationary bikes require you to do all the work.
I'm curious if you tried other exercise bikes before deciding on the theracycle?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member Hi again! Here's the one I have, with plenty of reviews (again, just giving an example and there are others...) My husband and I both LOVE our bike. SO much better than our old one. So comfy, face it toward the TV or toward a window onto a lawn with children playing, and you can keep it up for a long time. Of course my hubby dials in a lot more resistance but it's easy to set it back. He did assemble it. Easy to move when company comes, yet very stable when in use. here's a link- http://www.amazon.com/Exerpeutic-Folding-Magnet...
I am using a stationary bike that the handle bars and peddles move with each turn. I think it help me when my right arm doesn't want to move . I got it at a garage sale for 30.00 You might try looking and have friends look for you one at a flee market or garage sale.
