Does Anyone Here Have A Dual Diagnosis Of Parkinsons AND Adult Hydrocephalus? Am Scheduled For A VP Shunt In 2 Weeks;

the hydrocephalus is exagerrating the parkinsons and i have had two pretty significant falls since January. Still live independently, am a widow with 2 cats and 1 dog the concern is a fall will lead to MORE disability so the risk (risks!) of surgery outweigh not having the shunt placed. any comments or advice would be appreciated

Does it cause weight gain? I have been taking it and even with monitoring my diet, I am slowly gaining weight! This is the only new thing in my diet.
