Sometimes it is hard to swallow I chew food for a long time and I too just finish for lack of interest to chew anymore.

Swallowing can be a challenge for PD patients. I like to make sure everything is fully chewed. Choking isn’t any fun.

My husband was always a slow eater, but now it takes him at least an hour to finish, and most of the time he doesn't finish, he just decides he's had enough.
