i eat eggs, sausage & cheese for breakfast because i get so starved & i get dizzy if i eat light food. it has to be heavy.

Basically true. My husband takes his pills when he first wakes up and eats 30-45 minutes later. The next ones are an hour after lunch, the next 45 before dinner, and the last at 9 pm. Protein prevents absorption of the dopamine.

My understanding is half an hour to 1 hour before a meal or one and a half hours to 2 hours after and yes protein interferes.

2 hrs before or after a meal with protein.
Protein interferes with the absorption of your medication.
And you should limit the amount of protein.

Hubby's RX bottle shows take 40 minutes before eating protein.

30 to 60 min before eating is best. Protein affects mine. Milk seems to be the worst so I save my milk and ice cream until after I take my last dose of the day.
