Colace 100mg, 1 or 2 per day. (recommended by my movement disorder specialist) Took about a week to fully work, but has been a great relief. Also try to eat a lot of fruit.

- Hydration: Drink six to eight eight-ounce glasses of water daily.
- Warm Beverages: Drinking warm beverages in the morning can help stimulate the bowels.
- Exercise: Regular physical activity can help improve bowel movements.
- Medications: In some cases, laxatives may be needed.

Always consult with a healthcare provider before making any significant changes to your diet or treatment plan.

Magnesium citrate was recommended to me. I was warned that some of the usual stool softeners like Miralax and even Colace can actually dehydrate the bowel, but whatever works for you, works for you. Also heard good things about Senna.
