It is like parkinson, but when you have PSP medication does not really work and the progress of this is a lot faster. My sister has been told that she has Atypical parkinsims there is about four types of this PSP,MSA, CBD, and another one. Looking for other people who might have been told this too. Thanks

I have been diagnosed with psp/my neuro says it is not parkinson's but it is very close by nature. With psp I have a greater risk of falling (balance) and clumsiness, MY neck and torso are very rigid and when I walk it shows. I use a walker or wheel chair. I am extremely slow, so slow, even I can't stand it and I take botox for the drooling. I have very little pain (good) and no tremors. I just completed speech, physical and occupational therapy. Speech was mainly for swallowing. I haven't driven my car in two years because of my slow response timing. And psp sometimes affects your optical muscles, Wow< I am fortunate that I don't have any pain!
