Does Anyone's Head And Body Lean To One Side?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone's head and body lean to one side because of PD? Is that a symptom of PD? My head and neck and sometimes my body lean to the right side. My daughter notices and tells me a lot. Sometimes I don't notice it. I guess I'm used to it happening. She is a hairdresser and cuts my hair. She is always telling me to hold my head upright...and I have a lot of trouble doing it. She will start my hair cut and has to tell me several times to straighten my head. Sometimes ends up with a bad haircut… read more

Yes, Effexor XR 150mg, has been my magic bullet for over +30 years, one must also consider, how long this medication has been on the market, and with Effexor - there is over 50 years of positive clinical data to draw upon, which shows a very minimal side effect for the vast majority of people using this drug. Dry mouth was my only side effect until my system got used to it, but easily eliminated by chewing gum.

As some may know, the manufacture is required to include any and all side effect / possible negative claims that @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member posted above... The funny part of this all, many time when you dig into the real data, you'll find that a many of the same comments were given for the placebo given in side by side tests.

What is scary to me about some of these new anxiety / anti-depression that when you read the fine print provided, have shown negligible improvement, outrageous cost, and so many long term unknowns with it chemical makeup ... Just my thoughts.... Alan

Yes!! My head leans pretty severely to the right. Nobody here mentioned it and I hadn't really noticed until I went to visit my sister in April, and there were a lot of family pictures taken. In every pic I am leaning to the right.Since becoming aware of it I have tried to be more aware of where my head is. It is not always easy. I get a pretty bad neck ache on the left.I also got a soft collar I wear when no one can see me!! It helps me keep my head up,
