PD Or LBD
Has anyone that was diagnosed with PD had the diagnosis upgraded to LBD (Lewy Body Disease)? If so, what led to the change in the Diagnosis?
I was changed from PD to LBD because I was having hallucinations. No tremors or movement symptoms.

There is a good video in the resource section. My husband has Lewy Body Dementia. That means that he has 3 progressive disorders:sleep, Parkinson's and Dementia.

So far, so good, Robert. My psych doctor said that I do not have LBD. He said I probably will never have dementia or any form thereof. So I am happy about that.

My husband does not hav parkinsons demetia yet he suffers from halllucinations,is this a side effect of ths drug ? he is on sinemet cr 25 mg 2 x day.Is there anythjing he can take to get roid pf the hallucinations?
I had to cut the 1mg. Xanax in half. Did better.
Hello, Recently My Husband Has Been Having More Delusions, And Hallucinations Then He Normally Has.
We spoke to the doctor and since he was taken the lowest dose of carbidopa-leodopa , and it only seem to make him sleepy the doctor told him to stop taking it because it possible that he does not have Parkinson, but parkinsonism. It has been a week and still delusions and hallucinations. Does anyone have any advice on what direction we should take now! I'm so confused on what to do now.
